Jamboree Experiences
The Explorer Scouts who represented the Walsall North District at the World Jamboree in Sweden would like to invite fellow Scouts and Leaders from around the District to hear about their experiences. They will be giving a presentation at Pelsall Methodist Church from 7:30pm on Tuesday 28th February. This will last no more than an hour and will be followed by refreshments. Pelsall Methodist Church is located on Chapel Street in Pelsall.
One of our Cub Scouts makes it into the UK Scout Association Magazine
A Cub Scout in West Mercia has become only the second in the County to gain all 33 activity badges in the section. Ten year-old Charlie's achievement was honoured at a special night at the Pack's meeting place.
"It has been a lot of hard work at home and at Cubs but it has been a totally awesome experience" he said.
Cub Leader, Sara Cross, said, "To get all 33 activity badges requires three things; support from parents, good programme planning and, last but not least, a special kind of Cub. Charlie is that Cub."
